Go behind the scenes of our new video shoot!
Whether making a statement on the ski slopes or turning heads on a beach holiday, the trend for technicolour has a place in the fashion calendar all year round. But bright colours pop particularly beautifully in spring and summer, when the sun comes out. We shot this exclusive video to showcase the fabulous brands in action.
Major babe and our model Marcele Dal Cortivo jumped, pulled faces and danced her way through our first ever video campaign and it was magic! See it all come together in this behind the scenes blog, and be inspired to go a little wild this season.
Turn a monochrome outfit into a statement piece with a coat like this one from Mango. It offsets the black and white Hobbs skirt and River Island top perfectly, creating a really eye-catching combination.
Coat – Mango in House of Fraser £99.99, Skirt – Hobbs in House of Fraser £99, Top – River Island £35, Socks – H&M £5.99 and Shoes – Clarks £80
If it’s stripes and bright colours you’re after, then this skirt from Wallis is the best of both worlds. The lime green stripes in the fabric really bring it to life, especially when worn with the future-floral Therapy at House of Fraser bag, which has its own bright flourishes.
Skirt – Wallis £40, Shirt – Dorothy Perkins £25, Boots – River Island £90, Bag – Therapy in House of Fraser £39 and Earrings – Topshop £12
Layering is the perfect way to introduce a splash of colour, like wearing this neon pink Topshop tube under the emerald green Zara shirt. That, teamed up with a contrasting print in a skirt like this one from Mango, and you’re onto a winner.
Shirt – Zara £25.99, Tube top underneath – Topshop £9.99, Shoes – Zara £49.99, Rings – Pandora £75 and Skirt – Mango in House of Fraser £35.99
Pink is always fun – the brighter the better. These shoes from Clarks are a really playful addition to this bold and preppy outfit. The Zara bomber works wonders, as does the fluffy lime-green pom Accessorise key ring.
For the ultimate in technocolour style, get yourself some statement sunglasses, like these ones from H&M. Matching them with the pink flecks of the floral top from Pied a Terre in House of Fraser means an unforgettable and bang-on-trend outfit.
Dress as skirt – Phase Eight £169, Top – Next £22, Top – Pied a Terre in House of Fraser £35, Shoes – Jones £89, Necklace – Evans £14 and Sunglasses – H&M £5.99
