Zizzi’s have just launched their new Spring menu with an array of epic Italian dishes guaranteed to make you hungry. Us lucky Eden ladies were invited along to try it out, check out our top picks below!
It was love at first sight when the Cicchetti Sharing Board landed on our table! This magnificent sharing board is jam packed with delicious nibbles including oven-baked chicken & pepper skewers, mozzarella & pea arancini, prawn zucchini bites, Nduja sausage & mozzarella bread, tomato pesto bruschetta & their famous ‘little soul’ breads! The stand out dish for us was the chicken skewers, so fresh and light and full of flavor…YUM!
If seabass is your thing than Zizzi’s new Seabass verde is a must. It comes in two varieties; fried herby potatoes & green beans or the new Green Goddess & Isle of white mixed tomato summer salad. We opted for the herby potatoes. The pan fried fillets melt in your mouth and goes perfectly with a fresh squeeze of lemon.
For all the pizza lovers out there don’t look past the new Classic Capia pizza. It has a delicious smokey pepper pesto & tomato base with Fior di Latte & smoked mozzarella, fire-roasted peppers, sunblush tomatoes, black olives, pea shoots, riserva cheese & smoked garlic oil. There is an option to add crumbled piccante Basilicata sausage which we did!
There is nothing better than a slow roasted shoulder of lamb, the kind that falls apart as you cut in. Zizzi’s have hit the nail on the head with their new slow-roasted lamb, with garlic & rosemary. Served with a Chianti & rosemary sauce.
The perfect lunch, calls for the perfect dessert to finish it off. Try Zizzi’s new Sticky Chocolate & Praline Torte, this dairy-free chocolate torte has a date, hazelnut and walnut base. Served with a delicious coconut and chocolate ripple gelato. We were treated to triple the amount of ice cream as we were sharing…YUM!
