Buckinghamshire County Council would like to make you aware that there will be a road closure along Desborough Road (between the junctions of Westbourne Street and Bridge Street) and the southern end of Bridge Street later this month. This will result in the closure of Desborough Road between Monday 29th October and Friday 02nd November and the subsequent closure of Bridge Street on Monday 05th and Tuesday 06th November.
The closures are essential to allow contractors to safely fix the defects that have arisen, whilst allowing the materials time to set to prevent any further damage. These works are part of the 12 month guarantee period Buckinghamshire County Council agreed with the contractor who undertook the Desborough Road & Westbourne Street improvements in 2016/17.
If you have any queries regarding the closure, please contact The Highways Infrastructure Team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We have been informed that road works have been instructed by Inland Homes and Bucks County Council, and will take place from Wednesday 20th June for up to 5 weeks. The works will be taking place along Desborough Road by the Eden car park entrance. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may caused to your journey.
