Eden is going Green this February half term for a week of exciting environmental activities, from interactive stories, to puppetry, games and more.

Taking place under the giant inflatable leaf located outside Black Sheep Coffee, children can join us from Monday 12th – Friday 16th to learn all about maintaining a healthy lifestyle and making the right choices for a healthy planet.

The green team will be joined by William Wormsworth the puppet, the extremely wise worm who knows all there is to know about our planet and what we need to do to protect it.

On Monday the green team will lead a fun, physical recycling game involving little grabbers. Plus, William Wormsworth will lead charming stories of repurposing, reusing, upcycling and the importance of not dumping things in the wild. Grounded Kitchen will be joining us from 1:30PM, providing food samples.

Next up, Tuesday is all about water, we will be hosting a water taste challenge, recycled paper cup decorating and William Wormsworth will lead a story which will see little ones 'become water droplets'. We will be joined by New Life from 11AM and Wagamama from 1:30PM.

Well-balanced is Wednesday’s theme, children will have fun learning all about healthy plates and balanced diets. Plus, the green team will be joined by our charity partner One Can Trust and Yo Sushi who will have some tasty yet healthy treats to share.

Get ready for silly sports on Thursday as the green team partner up with Buzz Gym to get everyone working out. We will be joined by High Wycombe Library who will be providing information on their free family events.

To finish the week, Friday’s focus is wellbeing. Discover the benefits of being outdoors, get creative with flower seeded paper, and take part in a warmup led by Joe Jacobson and Jasper Pattenden from WWFC 2:30-3:30PM. M&S Opticians will be joining us from 11AM to share the importance of eye health.

*Activities will take place between 11am and 1pm and 1:30pm and 4pm, there is no booking required. Simply drop by as and when you like.

Our Green Eden event is free, we will be collecting food and monetary donations throughout the week for our charity partner, One Can Trust.
