High Wycombe Library

3 floor library with lending books, magazines, DVDs and talking books for all ages, with an information service, study areas and public use computers.

Local and family history resources, teenage library, free wifi, self service issue and return facilities.

A new Youth Centre has opened on the second floor of the library. The multi service drop in centre offers a range of FREE planned sessions and activities for all young people aged 12-18 years old.

Room Hire – general information:

We have 3 rooms for hire.
The smaller room is more suitable for 4 people and / or interviews.
The larger rooms, Room 1 and Room 2 can hold 30-40 people depending on the layout .
The connecting wall between these rooms can be folded back to make one even larger space for 70 plus.
The rooms can be laid out conference style, theatre style, or café style .
We have a whiteboard to show power points on and there is free WiFi throughout the building.
We can provide hot water in catering flagons but the hirer is responsible for supplying tea/coffee and milk. (We are next door to M&S and Tesco), and for leaving the room tidy as was found.
There are 2 rates of charges, one for commercial/private use, and a lower charge for registered charities or community groups. The hirer will also need Public Liability Insurance. If they do not have their own we can provide insurance at a charge of 10 per cent.
We open to the public at 9.30 am, but if you need earlier access to set up it is possible from 8.30.
