With yet another half term just around the corner, we’re getting ready to invite families to come down and join us on a mouthwatering journey through global cuisine, from Japan to Italy.
For four days during the half term week (27th May to 30th May) we will be hosting a different hands-on workshop and delicious tasting sessions each day, in collaboration with some of our fantastic eateries.
We’ll take families on a culinary journey throughout the week crafting Italian flatbreads, diving into the bold flavours of Tex-Mex, exploring vibrant Indian street foods and mastering the art of sushi.
Taking place at the heart of the centre, opposite Boots, the workshops will be the perfect opportunity to get the kids to try food from around the world, whilst creating some culinary treats for the holidays. Each day will be a new ‘culinary destination’ curated by some of our resident restaurants.
Sessions will run from 9:30AM – 3PM over four days (Tuesday 27th to Friday 30th May ).
On Tuesday 27th May, we will be celebrating Japan and Korea, making red pepper & tamago nigiri, with sample dishes from Wagamama & Grounded Kitchen.
On Wednesday 28th May, we will be honouring Texas and Mexio with a loaded nacho workshop, and sample dishes from Burger Daddy & Taco Bell
On Thursday 29th May, India is the country of choice, we will be hosting a pani puri workshop and Tapori Curry Bar will be joining us with samples.
On Friday 30th May, our last stop is Italy, where we will craft caprese bruschetta flatbreads and have the best Italian samples curtsey of Zizzi and Pizza Express.
This is an interactive activity, followed by a trail around the centre (children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian). The event will take approximately 45 minutes – 1 hour.
Tickets cost £1 per child, (adults do not require tickets) The ticket price includes all ingredients, tasting bites from our restaurants and a delicious dish to take home!
100% of proceeds will be donated to Heart of Bucks.
