July got off to an action-packed start at the return of our Big Day Out on Saturday 1^st July, with over 53,000 people attending.

The Big Day Out returned for its second year with a sizzling hot line up of activities for the whole family including dynamic dance acts, live music, mouth-watering food stalls, epic retailer offers, a giant tombola, craft workshops, face painting, a slime factory, meet and greets with JJ from Cocomelon and a Pup Pup Boogie Mini Show with Paw Patrol characters, Chase and Marshall.

Out of almost 700 entries, Kelly O’Shea was crowned the winner of The Big Day Out competition, bagging herself 5x Merlin Entertainments passes worth £500. The prize gives the winner access to the biggest, most exciting attractions across the country, including Legoland, Sealife Centre, Thorpe Park, Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures and much more!
