Last weekend, The Big Weekend-er, our biggest event of the Summer, proved a big hit with families across High Wycombe.

Over 80,00 came over the weekend to join in the fun. Proving our decision to make a weekend of it was the right move!

It was great to see so many families getting involved in the fun and playing the selection of fun games with a chance to win 100’s of prizes over the weekend, raising £2500 for Heart of Bucks, our chosen charity partner.

The Big Weekend-er’s daily prize draw giveaway saw two lucky winners win £1000 experience vouchers, much to the delight of the crowds as the winners were announced on stage.

The kids in the crowds were treated to appearances from some of their favourite characters, Bluey and Gabby’s Dollshouse. There were performances from some amazing tribute acts, including Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan and Taylor Swift tribute acts appearing on stage.

There was live music in collaboration with Catch22 Jams on top of roaming entertainment, an Xbox party bus and mini skate park.

The retailers got in the spirit for the weekend too with workshops hosted by Lush and Sostrene Grene. They were in the thick of the fun on the mall too with Carnival Golf and Games, Clip ‘n’ Climb, Hollywood Bowl, Starbucks, Taco Bell and more.

There were also some unbeatable Big Weekend-er discounts running across the two days.

Our team loved playing a part and talking to local people about the work we do across the county.

"We are very grateful to Eden for organising the fun games and workshops within the event, with the proceeds going directly to Heart of Bucks. Altogether, the event raised over £2,500, a fantastic result which will help to support vital community initiatives across Buckinghamshire.
